Bitcoin miner rental · SHA-256

NerdOctaxe rental from £3.50 a day.

The NerdOctaxe doubles the NerdQAxe++ again: eight BM1370 ASICs and about 9.6 TH/s. It is the largest of the open-source desktop miners we rent and the sweet spot for a week-long solo-mining run at £20.

How it works

01

Sign in and pick the NerdOctaxe

Choose a session length. If a unit is free it is yours within a minute; otherwise join the queue.

02

Point it at your pool

Pool URL, wallet or worker, password. We ask the pool to authorise the login before it is pushed to the miner.

03

Watch the shares land

Hashrate, temperature, accepted shares and best difficulty every 30 seconds, plus a session log of every pause and credit.

Uptime, and what happens when things go wrong

Your rental clock only runs while the miner is producing accepted shares. If it stops, the clock pauses automatically and resumes when it recovers, with the lost time credited back. Frozen telemetry triggers an automatic restart. A power cut at the site credits every affected session without anyone having to ask. If a unit has a genuine hardware fault we move your session to a healthy NerdOctaxe with your pool settings and remaining time carried over.

Unlike cloud mining hashpower contracts, this is a physical hardware rental: one dedicated miner, your pool, your wallet, your rewards. WildWatts never takes a cut.

NerdOctaxe rental questions

Is 9.6 TH/s enough to solo mine?

Enough to be a meaningful lottery ticket on smaller SHA-256 coins and a long shot on Bitcoin. Many customers point NerdOctaxe sessions at Bitcoin Cash, DigiByte or eCash solo pools where blocks come far more often.

Which coins can it mine?

Any SHA-256 coin: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DigiByte (SHA-256 algo), eCash and others, depending on the pool you choose.

What happens if a unit fails mid-session?

Your clock pauses the moment it stops producing shares. If the fault is on our side we move your session to a healthy unit of the same model with your pool settings and remaining time carried over.

Is there a queue?

Sometimes. If every NerdOctaxe is rented you can join the queue from the marketplace and your session starts automatically when one frees up.
